Anemometer Cup Counter

Anemometer Cup Counter is manufactured as per IS : 5912 : 1970 for measuring wind velocity. The Cup Counter Anemometer measures the run of wind past the Instrument over a period.

Our Anemometers are robustly constructed using powder coated Copper cups, gunmetal casting body, mechanical counter and stainless steels enabling them to withstand continuous exposure to the weather including marine environments.

This instrument measures total run of wind passing at the point of observation through Mechanical Counter of the range 0 to 9999.9 km.

Wind Vane is manufactured as per IS:5799:1970 which indicates the direction of wind at the point of observation.

It is used to analyse the wind flow during year & researches. It is also used in hazardous chemical industries to determine emergency run away side.

Our Wind vanes are robustly constructed using powder coated aluminium body for light weight & enabling them to withstand continuous exposure to the weather including marine environments.

Non recoding / Ordinary Rain Gauges are manufactured as per IS:5225 :1969.

Rain Gauge is manufactured from non corrosive fiber glass reinforced plastic container. It consists of collector assembled with brass Ring. Funnel, Locking Rings and Base.

The Rain Gauge is supplied with 4 liter bottle and glass measuring cylinder. Rain Gauges are available in  200 sq. cms collection area.

Self Recording Raingauge (S.R.R.G.)

Self Recording Rain Gauges are manufactured as per IS:5225 :1969.

Rain Gauge is manufactured from non corrosive fiber glass reinforced plastic container.

Recording raingauges are used to obtain a continuous record of daily or weekly rainfall.  It consists of a funnel-shaped collector at the top of the gauge and a float syphon chamber and recording mechanism just below it.  the rain water collected by the collector is led into the float chamber.  The float is having a central stud on which a pen assembly is fixed.  The pen is moving over a daily chart wound over a clock drum.  After every 10 mm of rainfall syphoning occurs and recording of rain starts afresh.

Tipping Bucket Raingauge

A tipping bucket rain gauge is used for measurement of rainfall. It measures the rainfall with a least count of 0.5 mm. Rain Gauge consists of Fiberglass body & twin buckets mounted on a horizontal shaft. It has two stable positions. The collector area of the rain gauge is 324 cm2 . Thus a volume of 32.4 cm3 corresponds to 1 mm of rainfall. The rainfall collected by the receiver reaches to one of the twin bucket through a funnel. The weight of rain in bucket causes the tilting of the bucket from position to another position and brings the other bucket under the funnel for collecting water. Every time the bucket tilts the small magnet attached to the horizontal shaft of the bucket actuates a reed switch generating one electric pulse. Facility for leveling the bucket and proper calibration are also provided in the Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge.

The pulses are counted by Digital Datalogger & stored alongwith Date & Time in its internal Memory. The stored data can be downloaded to PC in Datasheet format & analyze it using any spreadsheet software.

Sun Shine Recorder

This Sun-Shine Recorder is manufactured as per IS:7243:1974.

This instrument is used to measure Sun shine intensity over day. Main Components are bowls which are manufactured from Gunmetal and are precisely machined and assembled. Base is made of marble. The Special Solid glass sphere bowl is made uniformed and well annealed and air bubble free glass having good surface finish.

The chart paper is inserted in the groove. The sun ray's intensity causes a dark spot (due to burning) on Chart paper for full day. According to the dark spot width, intensity of Sun is measured using supplied Sunshine Measuring Scale.

The instrument is supplied with one year recording graph.

Stevensons Screen

Stevenson screens are manufactured as per IS:5948:1970 and are suitable for housing thermograph, hydrograph, dry and wet bulb, Thermometer and Maximum-Minimum Thermometer. It avoids direct sunlight on Thermometer & also avoids effect of direct wind flow.

Basically these are manufactured from best quality Indian wood and accurately assembled with side louvers and supplied available in two sizes: Small size and Large size.

This instrument is manufactured as per IS:5901 - 1970.

The instrument consists of a temperature sensitive Bimetallic element., in the form of S flat script or HLIX, connected by a system of Magnifying linkage to a recording pen moving on a chart which is fixed on a drum driven by clockwork available with mechanical clock.

The movement is transmitted to the pen point and recorded on a chart fixed on a revolving clock drum.


Hygrograph

The hair hygrograph is an instrument used for recording continuously the relative humidity of the air.  The sensor of this instrument is a bunch of human hair.  The length of the hair increases as the humidity increases and vice versa.  These small changes in length are magnified by means of a lever system such that the movement of the pen is proportional to the relative humidity. The hair hygrograph is kept in the double thermometer screen along with the bimetallic thermograph.

The Drum rotates by Daily Quartz Electronic Clock.

The Thermohygrograph is designed for measuring and recording atmospheric temperature and humidity as a function of time on recording chart. The Drum rotates by Daily Quartz Electronic Clock.

The temperature is measured using bi-metalic strip & humidity is measured by humidity effect on hair length. This instrument is used for meteorological research.

This Pan Evaporimeter is manufactured as per Is:5973 :1970.

The Pan is manufactured from painted Copper sheet  tested for water leak proof ness. The stilling well and thermometer clamps are manufactured from Brass. This is supported on wooden platform and covered with wire mesh for preventing Birds & Leaves, Measuring Cylinder is manufactured from transparent Acrylic.

Pan Evaporimeter uses a stillwell with a fixed point. Each time a measurement is taken, the pan is refilled to the level of the point using a calibrated graduate. The amount of water added is the equivalent evaporation.

This Pan Evaporimeter is also available in Galvanized Iron sheet on customer's reqest.
